Very homey atmosphere. The waitress was attentive and very nice. I got frogs legs and the sea food platter with fish, shrimp, and hush puppies. First time trying frogs legs. They really do taste like chicken! I liked them, though they could have definitely used more seasoning. The seafood platter was a miss for me unfortunately. The fish was dry to the point that I felt like I was eating jerky, and not good jerky. I liked the shrimp, it was very tasty. I was very much unaware that the hush puppies were, I'm guessing, jalapeno hush puppies. They were spicy and I'm a bit of a weenie when it comes to spicy. They were also dry, but tasted okay with some vinegar. This is an older place in town, and I can at least say I tried it finally. Unfortunately it's not a place I was fully able to enjoy.

I had heard such good things about this place as well as reviews and quite honestly I don't know what all the hype was about. Went with a group of 11 on a Thursday about 6pm. Place was packed but we were seated immediately because we called ahead. The food was quite disappointing. I guess if you go to a place that specializes in catfish, you should order catfish. However, if you're going to have other items on the menu they should also be served hot and tasty.

We stopped in here for the first time EVER at 11 am. Not really busy yet. I got hamburger steak and my wife got catfish. My food was great. My wife's catfish was hot but the outside cornmeal breading was tough as a boot not crispy OR crunchy just tough and hard to chew. She loves catfish and said it was literally the worst she had ever eaten. She did say the coleslaw was fantastic. Maybe cook was having a bad day. Sorry.

We love Catfish Corner. The all you can eat catfish and shrimp is always a family favorite. The staff are friendly and always go above and beyond when serving our family. They have kid friendly options and the atmosphere is relaxed. P. S. Be sure to try the onion rings, you will not regret it ♥ 😋!

Worse catfish i have ever had. We got there at 11am. Fish was hot but tough as leather on the outside breading and fish had zero flavor. The Cole slaw was very good.
